How many times have you seen a NUT ALLERGY or NUT FREE SITE warning posted at daycares, schools and in other public places? If you like to read food labels when you shop, you’ve probably noticed that most products you pick up now include a warning that nut traces may be present in their production facility. Allergies are on the rise and gone are the days of sending Jack and Jill off to school with a peanut butter sandwich!
A much better alternative in the treatment of food allergies involves nature’s remedies. There are very effective natural supplements to support digestion, reduce inflammation in the gut, help restore normal bowel bacteria and reduce unhealthy bacteria and yeast overgrowth.
The following protocol is a one month, higher potency treatment. Once you have completed this protocol for the first month, follow the maintenance protocol for sustained health.
- Multigenics – 3 tablets daily
- Ultra Flora Balance – 2 capsules once daily
- Spectrazyme – 1 tablet with each meal, 3 times per day (caution for people with stomach ulcers).
- Glutagenics powder – 1 teaspoonful twice a day
- Silymarin 80 – 1 capsule twice a day
Maintenance: Reduce Ultra Flora Immune Health to 1 capsule daily and continue the other supplements at the original dosages.
Description of the Above Supplements
Multigenics – provides a therapeutic level of broad-spectrum micronutrients, forming a good foundation in the treatment of many complex health problems.
Ultra Flora Immune Health – a probiotic and a key part of the immune system. A secretory IgA (sIgA) antibody that lines the gut, it is often deficient in chronic illnesses, especially allergic disorders. Probiotics stimulate the production of sIgA by balancing the normal gut flora.
Spectrazyme – provides a range of enzymes that aid digestion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Poor digestion is often a feature of IBS and has been linked to the development of food allergies.
Glutagenics Powder – contains glutamine, licorice and aloe vera which are known to support the health of cells lining the gut.
Silymarin – this is the key ingredient of milk thistle. IBS and food allergies are associated with the leaky gut syndrome which allows increased levels of gut toxins to reach the bloodstream, thereby increasing the demand on liver detoxification systems. Milk Thistle has been clinically proven to support detoxification processes.
